Both classes started the morning outside on the big playground.
On returning to the classroom we decorated our Valentines bags ready for next week. Using oil pastels and then painting over them, watching how the oil pastels push the paint away (crayon resist).
On the other side of the room we had a table set up with cards and large heart shapes. The children could choose to make a Valentines card for a friend or a member of their family.
