LEAVES

Art with Ms Lane was printing with leaf stamps.  The children  learned how to use a brad to roll the ink around before placing it on the stamp.  They chose which color and leaf stamp they wanted to use.

We roasted the butternut squash from the Farmer's market and challenged the class to try some.  Two choices, one with butter and salt the other with butter and cinnamon.
The adults preferred butter and salt and the children that tried it went for butter and cinnamon.  Whether they liked it or not, they got a high five for trying it.

Sparkly gold paper was a hit with friends making more outfits for their mini me.

The girls had created a car in dress-up and decided they were going on a car journey, but had to wait for mom to get the doughnuts.  No point going on a car journey without doughnuts.

We ended our morning in the woods, looking for leaves, sticks and stones for the big playground.  The older children had requested that Pre-k look for these items on our walks.  as the older children don't get the opportunity to venture into the woods as much as Pre-k.  Our class was happy to be of service.
