RAINY DAY

The rain may have stopped us going to the farm, but it did not stop us from having fun.  A big THANK YOU to Ms Fanucchi who was not planning on coming in today, when she heard we were not going on our field trip she changed her plans and joined us.

To compliment the weather  some of the children made pastel drawings of a stormy day.

Evy, Grace and Beatrix decided to make another picture just using their chalk covered hands.

A few of the children in Mr. Andrews class had thoughts of Halloween dancing in their head, inspiring our class to make decorations.

Following their enthusiasm we projected a image on the white board giving both classes the opportunity to add to the spooky picture.  At the end of the day everyone helped clean it so we can display a new image tomorrow.

Austin, Ike and Leonard decided to become ghostbusters and suck up all the ghosts floating around the classroom.

Good work Austin and Leonard you caught another one.

We read a book called Alfie, by Thyra Heder.  The book tells the story from two perspectives.  Nia, the little girl and Alfie, the turtle.

As it was too wet to go outside, we ended our morning with a walk over to the middle school to stretch our legs and learn more about our school.

QUESTIONS
Can you remember one of the new songs Ms. Fanucchi taught you?
What did you draw next to the spooky house?
Why did Alfie disappear?
Can you remember one thing you saw on the walls of the middle school?

NOTE
We are trying to rearrange our Farm field trip for the 30th October.  Trying to co-ordinate bus and Farmer Scott's schedule, will hopefully have confirmation by tomorrow.
