GEOMETRIC SHAPES

Animals, was the theme for spanish today.  We played a couple of new games and began to learn the spanish for duck, horse, cow, dog, and elephant.





Creating pictures and radial patterns with geometric shapes was an option at the big table.  We are returning to geometric shapes and will be looking at radial and growing patterns as a lead up to an art project we will start next week.

We also returned to our 3 little _______ and the big bad ______ stories.  A couple of friends had to finish their stories and we have started acting them out.  Today we acted out Margot's 3 little princesses and the big bad fairy.  Margot, Valentina and Grace were the princesses and Beatrix played the big bad fairy.   Once everyone has had their story acted out we will share them on Seesaw.

We ended our morning by reading Orion and the dark by Emma Yarlett.  The story is about a boy who is afraid of a lot of things but most of all he is afraid of the dark.
