Ms Fanucchi started our morning with a new song about snow, as well as some old favorites.
During work choice time I asked the class to come over and share one memory from Thanksgiving and draw what they remembered.
After break it is interesting to see how the class settles back into a routine. Everyone was engaged and seemed happy to play with their friends.
A few of the class tried the cranberry sauce that they made on Grandfriend's day. YUM!
At the end of the morning we played a game of 'Name bingo'. Great way to learn letters in our name and in our friends names.
We finished by reading another book about emotions. I am not scared by Jonathan Allen. A little owl takes a walk in the woods and each animal he meets tells him not to be scared.
We discussed what we are afraid of noting that a lot of us are afraid of different things and some of us are afraid of the same thing. I shared something I am afraid of, and how it makes me feel. Then the children shared what made them feel scared.
