CELEBRATING IKE'S BIRTHDAY

Señor Geffen started teaching us how to say our numbers up to 20 in Spanish as well as learning a new song along with some old favorites.  

We  added 48  'R' words to our list today making a grand total of 68 in 2 days.  That might be a record.

There was a lot going on in class today.  A few students were called over to the big table to paint their model magic self portraits

Doctor Fang and Doctor Margot made sure their patient, Valentina had a check up 

 and lots of shots, OUCH!

Luca, Fang and Austin started working on a puzzle. 

Ike came over to help.  They finished the puzzle quickly, but I did not get a chance to take a photo of the finished work.   They  efficiently cleaned up after themselves and moved on to a new project.

Evy and Margot were trying out yoga poses from the animal yoga book we have been working with as a group.

There was a large group of the class that played in the unicorn stables.  Yes, we have unicorn stables in our classroom, under the loft.  Evy, Beatrix, and Margot created food for the unicorns.  Then they realized they needed a fence for the stables so that the unicorns wouldn't run away.

Austin, Luca,  and Leonard joined them in the stables, some of them decided to be mischievous baby unicorns. 

Problem, not enough room for everyone.  Evy helped solve the problem by moving the big block fence further out, now every can join.

Before going to P.E. we celebrated Ike's 4½ birthday with delicious Avengers cookies.
