MORE CONSTRUCTION

Shapes were part of Ms. Lane's art lesson.  

Ms Lane showed the class a rectangle and asked, "What could this be?"

Austin:"TV"

Evy:"Window"

Nolan:"Bed"

Beatrix:"Pillow"

Luca:"An eyeball from a person."

Everyone created a collage, and worked on how to place the shapes on top of each other to create new images and shapes.

As you can tell construction work has continued.  There was some problem solving that went on today.  The construction workers decided to place pipes between the two lofts. Oops, there is a problem, the pipes are not long enough.

I asked."What can we use to connect the two pipes." 

 Luca:"We need another pipe and some duct tape."

Problem solved.

We watched another amazing musical performance, this time it was a couple of songs from the Wizard of Oz.   'Somewhere over the rainbow' and 'Follow the yellow brick road'. 

 I found out I had an appointment with two doctors.  They initially told me I was very ill but they managed to make me better.

With all the work going on a lot of the class waited until the end of the morning to have snack.  Even construction workers need snack.

The three little fish and the big bad shark was our story today.
