The class were very excited to help make, and taste the pancakes we made using the buttermilk left over from Friday. Everyone gave them a thumbs up.

Construction work continued on the hotel. Nolan drew the plans for the building. Friends helped each other move the tools to the top of the building, and finish work on the hotel before trying to sell it.
Luca was walking around with a piece of paper and a pen trying to sell the hotel to classmates for $200. I asked what they were going to call the hotel.
Luca to Nolan: "What shall we call it?"
Nolan: "French fry hotel"
Luca: "No, everyone will think it's made of french fries. It is called, 8, 20, 13 hotel."
Luca asked for a large piece of orange paper to make the sign for the hotel, and with Austin's help they put the sign up.
This afternoon we added a new dynamic to the construction site with a pulley system between the two lofts. This created new ideas and the class were making letters for friends that had to be delivered via the pulley.

The writing center was busy, Grace created her own version of Candyland, using lego pieces for counters.
While Solveig and Margot created a treasure hunting game using a map of the classroom that Solveig drew.
I spent some time in dress up with mom, baby and two puppies. Mom was feeding everyone and I was lucky enough to get a delicious plate of vegetables.

At the end of the morning we read The three little aliens and the big bad robot.
