Señor Geffen read Oso Pardo, Oso Pardo Que Ves Ahi( Brown bear, brown bear what do you see?)
this morning. Each child had to find the matching animal and put it on the board as Señor Geffen read each page.
Continuing with patterns we introduced sewing for the first time this year, looking at how the needle goes up and down to make stitches on the fabric.
Leonard and Ike were practicing their sword fighting skills. Ike's sword was a little bit bigger than Leonard's. Leonard came up with a creative way to stop Ike, by placing a large shield between them.
The pulley system was in full working order and both classes worked together to get mail from one side to the other.
Before P.E. we read The Three Silly Girls Grubb by Ann Hassett. This story was very different from the three little pig books.
